SL/Green Dots (click to enlarge)

Upon entering Hooters -N- Shooters I noticed (via my mini-map) that the event tonight was definitely "Billiards"-themed.

SL/Decoding a picture

Sometimes pictures or photos can appear differently at different times. For instance, the below picture may (or may not) reveal that I'm about to be carved up for a pre-Thanksgiving dinner.

First Impressions:
Elle holds in her hand a knife, and there is a candle on the table. I'm staring straight ahead, scared. Elle has just gotten out of bed, because her boobs are showing. Elle is looking around to make sure no one is watching. This must be the middle of the night, because the stars are out. I am wide awake.
/
I am a regular at a club called Hooters N Shooters which is co-owned by a vivacious hottie named Elle Kirschner, who is actually holding a cigarette in the above picture. She is gyrating to some sexy music while simultaneously DJing at her club...and me<--- I'm stoned.

SL/Tales of the Turkey

At the club, I hovered atop Elle's dance pole, which resembled an egg (sort of). I threatened to either leave a mess on it, or give birth to it, depending on the crowd's mood. Seriously, it was a fun place to perch and watch the lovely Elle perform, while staying away from humans.

Turkey (Patric): i try not to show humans my legs
Abfab Hax: You got some sexy ass breast meat on ya, Turkey! Bom-chicka -Wah-Wah!!
Turkey: dont compare me with a chicken
Turkey: my breasts are better

Earlier, I had spent time on Abfab's head, which may have been the best nest ever. Certainly the most glamorous. But also short-lived. She loves to dance, so my time there was limited. Then the dance pole became a possibility... How I flew there I'll never know. I landed next to Elle, and got the best seat in the house.

Sexy Elle. Her body was such a pleasure to watch. Writhing. She is a DJ, so she was writhing and talking at the same time. Incredible.

Then

[18:35] Maxwell Negulesco: WOOT!

and my head nearly hit the ceiling. What a shocker! Turkeys have fragile constitutions, so please watch your WOOTS.

And your Wolf howls.

And WhooHoos!

But wolf howls especially. And woots!

I recovered...barely. Elle brought me back down to earth with her saucy, warm voice.

I thought of Thanksgiving somehow. Elle's voice made me think of a warm, saucy Thanksgiving...

Dear God. I thought of my own predicament. Would I be microwaved? How would Elle react to me when the holidays started? Would she prefer me with gravy?

Then I heard someone at the club call me 'plump'. Plump? Since when does somebody call you 'plump' unless it's a compliment?

Plump?

I was getting nervous. That thing on my neck, the red thing, the thing no one seems to remember what it's called (it's called a wattle by the way). It began to vibrate. Bad.

Badly. Sorry.

It was time to go.

SL/Darko the Serbian dancer

Darko is one of the dancers at Hooters -N- Shooters. I remember the days when Hooters had "hooters" on one side, and in the other room were the "shooters". I always stayed on the Hooters side, and sometimes had to duck through the Shooters side to leave. But today's Hooters has the Shooters combined, so we see dancers like Darko in the same room with hot dancers like Abfab and Sugar and BHo.

Darko is not shy about getting naked; in fact, you can usually find him naked a full one hour before the rest of the dancers.

Today I was startled to find him fully dressed.
I was so used to ignoring Darko that finding him dressed was a revelation. He explained that since he wasn't working, he was dressed. I saw the advertisements on his clothing. "Overdressed," I corrected him.
It wasn't advertisements, he corrected me; and in a way it wasn't: it was the crude usage of search engines like Google and YouTube and Yahoo to depict rough sex in a sentence. I told Darko he'd better turn around, and we'd better see Ask.com on the back of his shirt.

SL/morning

Nothing starts the day off better than being outside Hooters -N- Shooters nightclub on your day off, bright and early, listening to the birds and seeing the sun bouncing off the violet windows. Adding to that, sitting on a water tower with the lovely Elle, the DJ/Owner/Landscaper.

There is a playground outside the club too, and a dumpster where I may end up living part-time.

SL/Larry needs a new video card to escape from O. Island

Larry is a co-worker friend of mine. He looks like Marlon Brando from "Apocalypse Now": bald-headed, dark eyebrows: A very intimidating look. It was fascinating to watch Larry show up in Second Life and inhabit an avatar that looks like a metrosexual, a far cry from the Larry I know.

Larry has undergone three incarnations in Second Life, all trying to get off Orientation Island.
Larry is a stoner in real life.
He may never get off Orientation Island. Every time he does get off it's only for a short while before the inevitable crash sends him back to Orientation Island for the next log-in.
He is not only a stoner, he is laggy.
How does he expect to get off the island?
---
Tonight, Larry requested a TP to get off the island since he couldn't move (he could only type). He couldn't even use his legs. I invited Larry to our pool, where he still couldn't move, so I sent him into the pool. I told him: "Yes, your avatar appears to be blinking" after I studied his face. And so it was.

[17:41] Boone Docherty (Larry): wet
[17:42] Patric Styrian: try to do the impossible and swim
[17:42] Boone Docherty: this thing will not move
[17:43] Patric Styrian: CAN YOU READ THIS
[17:43] Patric Styrian: i don't want to lose you
[17:43] Boone Docherty: yes
[17:44] Patric Styrian: i am summoning a doctor
[17:44] Patric Styrian: don't move
[17:44] Patric Styrian: he is a Lag Specialist
[17:44] Boone Docherty: cant move
[17:45] Patric Styrian: try to move your right hand
[17:45] Boone Docherty: what button
[17:45] Patric Styrian: forget that
[17:45] Patric Styrian: hit your upper arrow key
[17:45] Patric Styrian: see if that works
[17:45] Boone Docherty: ok
[17:46] Boone Docherty: nothing
[17:46] Patric Styrian: try your 'W' key
[17:46] Boone Docherty: wwwwwww
[17:46] Patric Styrian: lmao
Larry-Boone crashed, and returned to Orientation Island. But the next time he logged in he could move, so I invited him to Hooters -N- Shooters nightclub to escape.
For 12 minutes he was able to survive at Hooters -N- Shooters without incident, moving around somewhat freely. Then something happened. At the 12-minute mark he was staring at one of the beautiful dancers when he stopped communicating. None of us could get his attention.
"I think that's it for him," someone said.
Noooooooo.
Larry disappeared.
(Returning no doubt to Orientation Island.)

SL/4.20 x 420

'Stoners nite' at Hooters-n-Shooters

DJ Elle is officiating. Meanwhile, Yetrates is releasing some kind of mints into the air, in increasing intervals. Intense, I tell her.
She is also holding a bong, wielding it like a light saber, and knighting several people with it.
Meanwhile, Elle giggles, and re-giggles.
She is dancing on top of glass, mind you, fish beneath her sneakers. No way would she would wear high heels tonight and risk injuring a fish by breaking the glass by dancing too much. There hasn't been a fish injury in the history of Second Life--as far as anyone knows--and DJ Elle isn't going to be the first one (to injure one).

I see what color underwear Yet is wearing: Squash. There is a similar-colored fish swimming in the tank. I want to eat it.

No I don't. Yes I do--if it's edible, which I don't think it is.

Noticing the mints now more than ever, especially the big, stationary one on my screen. The mint is sparkly; I like that. I want to eat it (too). I like it when a mint is sparkly. That means the mint has mint on it. The mint has little flecks of mint on it.

Yummy.

I love sucking the mint flecks off of mints I do I do I do.

(: Or at least trying to :)

Brb, famished.

SL/Body Language/

I have a Photoboard in my house that displays pictures. Anyone can add or subtract pics from the board.
If you touch a pic, it blows up to full size, another nice feature.
Here is a blown up picture of Yetrates, who just won a race.
l
Milo was at the house and immediately went (Away), so we were able to use the board as a comparison piece of his hair "Before" and "After" he met his fiance, Kaca.
..
Yetrates left and invited me to a car dealership. While there, she kept telling me the "Citroen was for" me. I am not as big into cars as she is--I really don't know what a Citroen is--so I went to get something from the real life refrigerator, and when I came back, I saw Milo was at the dealership, too, already (Away).
Milo has been spending an inordinate amount of time (away) since he met his girlfriend. It is affecting his ability to stand up straight.

Horse Encounters at H-n-S
At Hooters 'n' Shooters history was (perhaps) made when a horse on the dance floor was cautiously introduced to a sea horse.

SL/Rarer sighting than Bigfoot

After zipping around her club all day then doing a dynamic shift as DJ, owner-impresario Elle is seen sitting in a La-Z-boy.

SL/Young Love

Wayne and Kimmy are a real life, as well as a Second Life, couple. I found out some fascinating details about their love lives...

They live together in real life (engaged to be married). He was in the living room as we spoke, she in the bedroom. Both of them could hear each other laughing.

He is 21, she is 20.

They admitted they have sex in Second Life. A lot. And it's enjoyable, too--as in real life.

Kimmy gave me a picture of a smiling Wayne and Kimmy in real life, as well as a blank-faced Wayne-Kimmy Second Life photo. I commented how the the Second Life photo seemed more naturalistic. JUST KIDDING. I asked them if they ever shared the same keyboard. Not yet.

They hang out constantly in Second Life. The only thing they can't do is teleport together. A bug that is still being worked on, I commented.

As it was midnight EST, I left them alone to dance @ Hooters -N- Shooters while I went to bed. They had the whole place to themselves.
Here is a picture I took of Wayne and Kimmy before I left.

SL/Genesis of this pic...

At Hooters -N- Shooters
I forget what happened, but I said something crazy like I missed "the duck that was here on the La-Z-boy last night." There was in fact a La-Z-boy® on the dance floor, and it did in fact have a duck perched on it last night. Elle, as co-owner of the club, didn't know what happened to the duck or where it was being kept. Sam, one of the male dancers, obliged me by dressing up in a chick costume, which I mistook for a duck anyway...then a bystander, Unix, showed his 'ducky love' by donning the only ducky thing he had in his possession, a ducky flotation device. The whole night was ducky, you might say.

Later, when Sam the bird stood up to communicate, I accused him of pecking, not typing.

SL/Map if you need one

At Hooters -N- Shooters.

After everything had winded down a bunch of us realized we were Floridians. In fact, we had aligned ourselves on the dance floor geographically without realizing it. I had positioned myself on the West side (Tampa Bay), Bongo was in the middle (Orlando), and Babyhoney on the east coast (Daytona Beach). Capping it off, Jason, who had been a conversation-mate of ours, was standing directly north of us in Pensacola.
It all matched up perfectly, like a map.
Hurricane season is upon us. Dear God in heaven, let this not be a sign.

Second Life/Hooters/Help Island

I attended an Event and wandered to a nearby park and discovered a camper who was literally turning blue in the face.

On Help Island you never know what you're gonna get.

The locals are a wild bunch.

Here are a bunch of picketers.

There's a small disturbance as a dragon appears out of nowhere.

Some of the picketers are caught off guard

A few don't make it.

Later, when things are much calmer I take my first hot air balloon ride.

The owner/pilot is named Hans.

(...Checking out my smoke contrails...)

Along the way someone else joins us for a ride.

His name is Maxwell.

Is he...green?

At Hooters 'n' Shooters an elegant looking fellow named Castor awaits competition for a gothic-themed event.

And here is Elle, a girl I've been visiting at this same club.

She's a beautiful person.
And she has an excellent job.
