SL/Encounters in Welcome Area pt. 35/Sightings

Soy: a winged creature came to my campfire
Soy: i love it when winged creatures come to my campfire
Soy: By the way, there was a UFO here last night, and when I went to take snapshots of it I discovered my harddrive was full.
Sianne: lol
Sianne: Was it a green alien?
Sianne: or one of them grey ones?
Soy: couldn't see thru the tiny windows
Sianne: it didn't land?
Sianne: you shoulda shot it down!
Sianne: you coulda made the news!
Soy: yeah i was too afraid
Soy: didn't want it to be Santa
Soy: i remember reading a few stories about that last year
Soy: Santa getting shot down here and there
Sianne: really who would shot Santa down?
Soy: it may have been a former reindeer
Sianne: a reindeer?
Soy: Santa is known to use a whip
Soy: there are lots of santa decoys, tho
Soy: i don't think he was hit
Sianne: That is good I don't wanna miss out on pressies next year
Soy: yeah, all you need is santa and china to stay alive
Sianne: lol
pixiedust: Hi Sianne
Sianne: How are you?
pixiedust: just looking around, what trouble are you up too
pixiedust: be careful people in here are troublemakers
pixiedust: soy is friends with all of them
Sianne: Nothing much just chatting to soy here about the ufo he saw!
pixiedust: Don't believe him
pixiedust: it is a side effect of the marijuanna
Sianne: He didn't shoot it cause he thought it might be santa
Soy: i think the UFO was here because he needs to get from one place to another and hasn't discovered teleporting yet

SL/Story/part one/Possible Sploder Sighting

I wish I had gotten a picture of a Sploder before they all went away. Just one picture! Rumor has it there is a warehouse where the Sploders are being kept. For those of you who don't know, the Sploder was a ball typically found in a club that SPLODED with money in it. One lucky individual could win up to 80% of the take. Now that gambling is history, the Sploder is history too. The warehouse currently holds, like, 5,000 Sploders, I'm told. The fate of these Sploders is unknown. Will they be converted into Prize Orbs? Or will something more sinister happen?
A friend of mine flew over the (alleged) warehouse in a UFO last weekend. He didn't get any photographs, but he said the door opened long enough for him to see a Sploder inside.
I called several people in the area, but none reported seeing any Sploders. One person did say he heard, and I quote, "FEED THE SPLODER."
"He actually heard that?"
"Yes, he claimed it was more like a shout. And it wasn't really a request--it was an order."
I found some binoculars on sale at the Kenyan Safari Hut and went to find out for myself.
'FEED THE SPLODER' sounded like a war cry to me. The Sploders were known to browbeat people all over the world with the words, 'FEED THE SPLODER' back in the day. Now that they've been forced into silence, this could mean trouble.

SL/Encounters in Welcome Area pt. 16/Hair Loss

Soy was admiring the guy's hat. It didn't look like a regular cowboy hat, it looked more like a Mexican gunfighter's hat. "I will buy that from you for $20L," he said.
/
Before he had a chance to put it on, though, he was handed a hat by someone else, and when Soy wore it, it turned out to be pink! Adding insult to injury, it didn't really sit on his head right; more like it hovered over his head--like a UFO.
"Or a dipping tray," someone laughed. "Fill the bottom part with chips, the top part becomes dipp-able."
"Yay! Someone used the word dipp-able in front of me" Soy said dryly.
As it turns out, it was the 53,777th utterance of the word 'dipp-able' in the history of the English and non-English world. Soy was so pleased he got himself a beer.
"Is this how you wear it?" he asked, once he got the beer. When no one laughed, he said, "I'm preparing to get drunk, but I'm not sure on how to make it happen."
Someone said, "Wear it between your lips."
"Ahhh," Soy said. Then he said "arrrggghhhhhhhhh" when he couldn't stand holding it between his lips any longer.
The worst part was when Soy removed the hat (or the UFO)...and the beer bottle: He discovered he had no hair left, or at least none that mattered: the bushy part was gone.
"My essence is missing," Soy alased.
All wasn't lost, though. He spotted a lass who had just turned her back on a non-responding boyfriend and was Editing Her Appearance.
"Ma'am, I hate to bother you, but look," said Soy, "this is kind of an emergency. That hair you're wearing. Do you need all of it?" Soy took a huge gamble that she wouldn't disappear.
"A handful is all I'm asking for," Soy pleaded when she didn't respond.
Ma'am was too involved in Editing her Appearance to care about what Soy was yammering about. Until then, there had been no practical reason for Soy to have sheep sheers in his Inventory.
"Good thing I save everything," he remarked.

SL/Overheard

Another sentence you thought you'd never see...

"I frantically scrolled through my gestures until I came across a 'point' animation so that I could point at a rather large UFO that was hovering over our frat house, just in time for everyone to see me."

SL/(Neighborly) Vibes

That's a spicy meatball

The beach house with the UFO has attracted a diverse and lovely set of neighbors.

My longest-time neighbor is an Australian lady (Juko). Followed by an Israeli man (Simon). Followed by an American woman (Myth). Followed by, and I kid you not, a colony of French lesbians (on the south east corner). Of course, the pool is mainly occupied by Serbians, as is my house. A Dutch and two American woman also stay occasionally at the house. Same as a Brazilian guy (Erlon).

I am still looking for a certain lady in Texas to visit me, who I've never seen outside of 1st Life.

As far as I know all this makes sense.

SL/When hair falls out learn to belly dance

I went to the UFO during a costume change at Milo's party and my hair decides to fall out. Fifty trips to the UFO and nothing strange happens and now all of a sudden I lose my dreads? And my eyebrows, and my soul patch? Right in the middle of our pool party?
In my Inventory I have a bellydancer's costume that I knew would come in handy someday if I didn't get rid of it, so I return to party as though nothing had happened.
The veils do a decent job covering up the fact that I've lost my hair.

SL/Perfect

This is a great shot of the community pool and the surrounding landscape. I love that you can see the pool, the aqueduct, the neighboring houses, the moon and stars and what looks like a UFO.

SL/Proof of Unintelligent Life in the Universe

At the pool with Milo and his recently-purchased Mom. Mom scolded Milo about smoking a joint, saying he wasn't doing it right. She also pointed out the giant doobie wasting away in the pool.

Meanwhile, I was partying at the cabana when I noticed smoke coming from the cabana's ceiling. At first this fascinated me--then alarmed me when I realized I was the one causing the smoke. In a flash Milo was all over it: He rolled his wet body around on the roof, trying to put out the smoke. It only got worse. It wasn't until Yetrates arrived with a bag of faeries that the smoke was finally contained.
k
Milo and I celebrated that night by focusing hard on a UFO so that an alien would show up.
We weren't prepared for the scaly, Lobster-looking alien that did show up--but, hey, an alien is an alien.

We had the alien sit in a hot tub so we could gradually increase the temperature. Meanwhile, we peppered it with at least a thousand different questions, none which it answered. After a bit, the alien popped out of the tub and said it had to return to the UFO before it was compelled to eat us.
Milo was so excited to have extraterrestrial contact that he wanted a picture hugging the alien.

Second Life/Tentacle Garden

Following LaeMi down a tunnel.

The tunnel leads to a distant room.
Yetrates is there as well.

Our attention is diverted to another door--a locked door.

When you see a tanning bed the first thing you should do (without thinking) is climb in .

Except when it isn't a tanning bed.

Milorad and I were having a conversation when something hit him.

From then on he could only walk in place.

And not say anything...

SL/420/Fantasy Flight

I'd love to sit in the middle of a busy airplane (like a 747) and have drinks served to me, maybe an inflight movie, and some turbulance.

The stewardess would be wearing a skimpy stewardess outfit and I would be able to see the outline of her thong underwear. I would get popcorn served via a combo poporn/air-sickness bag that drops from the ceiling.

The only smoking would be from the complimentary joints the stewardess hands out.

We'd have permission to open the emergency doors and bail out with parachutes strapped to our backs. This would be for sport.

Meanwhile, a Mile-High Club would thrive in the restrooms. (New sex animations would have to be invented, especially for those cramped conditions.)

The inflight movie could only show airline disaster flicks.

Along the way, turbulance would occasionally rock the boat, forcing us to change seats. We would have new seat mates. Aisle-seaters would have window seats and vice versa. Those standing would be tossed all directions. New dance partners would be created!

The cockpit would not be off-limits. Every guy would be able to drool over the control panel. Every girl would be able to seduce the pilots.
[If the pilots were women, they could also be seduced.]

The scenery outside the windows would change according to the conditions. If it was rainy, then you might see lightning. If it was sunny, then you might see a UFO>>>>>

The meals on the aircraft would be barely edible. In fact, free lindens could be obtained by suffering through multiple airline meals.

The passenger who donates the most money at the end of the flight gets to have his/her bags carried out personally by the pilot.

New Group name:
The group above my head currently says: "Damn Crazy," which I am partial to.
Although this one would be tasteless: "Extremely Popular."

Second Life/DiscoUFO

I finally started work on my disco UFO.

It's gonna be sharp.

On starry nights you can sit on top of the UFO and ponder the universe.

Inside my neighbor's (Charles and Susan Berlin's) house: A fireplace, hearth, TV screen and picture adorn the wall.

Beyond this wall is the disco UFO.

I made this swirling pillar-type object in the name of peace.
It lights up at night.
