Angelaa Capalini: are just now seeing me?
A means for me to put down whatever rubbish happens to affect me at the time and to comment on today's news, when applicable. (Lately it's become more and more of a Second Life parable, though.)

A new friend, Waelya, invited me to her shop. While at the shop I invited my other friend, Ulises, to come by. As I was introducing those two, I realized that they were both from Spain. Naturally, they were delighted to hear this, so they began speaking in Spanish.
I politely asked that they continue to talk in English in front of me (which they did).
/
Later, Ulises remarked that he hadn't seen me at the pool lately, and I explained that since Milo has been a stud lately, we have been invited to a lot of clubs lately.
[9:43] Ulises Snook: what is a stud?
[9:43] Patric: a suave, cool individual, usually a man
...
Pappy sent out a challenge to locate this swamp monster and get a photo with it. The name of the monster had at one time been "Beeble Baxter" (when it was a Furry). But now that it was a monster, it was no longer a 'he,' apparently, and it was also without a name. So we'll just call it 'swamp monster.'
I let Ulises study Pappy's blog, thinking a Spaniard trying to decipher a hillbilly's dialect to locate a monster on Second Life was too good an opportunity to pass up.
To my surprise, Ulises had no trouble understanding Pappy's patois, and even suggested a few places we might find the monster.
[9:55] Ulises Snook: i get it
[9:55] Ulises Snook: i speak southern spanish
[9:55] Ulises Snook: :)
[9:55] Ulises Snook: so
[9:55] Ulises Snook: are looking for the swamp or waht?
[9:56] Ulises Snook: the swamp must be in a place with sea
[9:57] Ulises Snook: and cold
[9:57] Ulises Snook: that is what i think
...
The only swamp I know on Second Life belongs to my neighbor, LaeMi. She even has a swamp monster inhabiting it. I don't know if those two monsters would get along, though. But I can't rule it out.

Mom
Jenny introduced me to her mom (her REAL LIFE mom) named Sandi. Of course, Sandi and I got along famously, she being 45 and I being 39. Her job, she told me, was encouragement: she only shows up on Second Life to encourage her daughter--Jenny the builder. She is the official cheerleader of Jenny's company, ComPany. "ComPany Mom" is her title. She runs around on a unicycle, doing laps around her daughter who's building, shouting encouragement. It is quite a setup. Here is a picture
of Jenny busy building, and Waeyla busy building, while Mom looks on from her unicycle.

They were all slumped over, all for different reasons. I'd gone microwaving, and this is what I returned to.
At various times each one of them came back to consciousness and I was able to pinpoint where they had been. The consciousness was fleeting, though, and after a short time each one had gone back into a slump. I knew I had to get out whatever I had to say in no time flat.
"You are standing in front of me and telling me that you are also on Google? That is what you're telling me?" This is what I found myself shouting at Yetrates.
"What you mean you were chatting with Ayo on MSN? Isn't she the best lady at your upcoming wedding??" I raged at Milo when it was his time to surface.
DrAlbert Hoffman and I were never able to communicate aside from a brief "LOL" that he typed (after I'd said something to him about six minutes earlier).
THEN:
Yetrates left. Milo said he was going clubbing. He asked me to go, and I said "Someone needs to stay with the doctor."
Eventually, the Dr. did return, and explained that it was late where he was (actually early in the morning) in Serbia.
His incoherent statement to me was:
"i didnt used on those late times anymore"

At Loon's Strip Club/Breakfast lounge
I told Toker Ursula she had every right to go behind the speaker when she wanted to change,
but she insisted on doing it out in the open.
She turned around, though, and I got the tease of a lifetime.

Later she told me she wanted to go upstairs. I told her it was probably due to the fact that she usually faced that direction
when climbing the dance pole.

Finally she did go upstairs. The second floor was not much
to recommend except it had a bunch of ferns.
The third floor, however, had an office. I dared Ursula to get naked on the office desk.
I told her about the crowd on the dance floor below.
I said it was a double dare.
/

She was more interested in getting hired at the club. Her time on the pole, as good as it had been, had only been a tryout. She hadn't received a tip jar yet. She wanted a tip jar.
The first chance she got she was in front of Ferguso Loon, the owner, pleading her case.

"You the owner?"
"Yeah"
"They said I wouldn't get a tip jar unless you checked me out."
"Head to toe," I reminded him.
Ursula was informed that before anyone's hired at the club Ferguso had the right to see them naked.
"To prove that you're a lady," I said.

The evolution of Milo is not only involving his hair style--which I told him today resembles more and more Hollywood
movie mogul Robert Evans'-- but also more subtler
things like his height, and lips. Indeed, Milo handed me a photo of his real life self today and announced his intentions of turning himself into himself. Milo wants the world to know he is preparing to
become Milo.

For the 4th of July we were treated to Milo's Serbian friend Ayo singing classic American songs, streamed from her studio-sung mp3s on my hard-drive straight to the pool in Watarrka Park.
This is a pic of Ayo listening to one of her songs.
/
This pic is also evidence that Milo may have changed his hair style again.

Angie took off mid-sentence and I did a decent job trying to keep up with her, flying and avoiding tall buildings and at least one other flying individual. It was dark out, and I could see her blond hair against the night sky. Luckily, that was my beacon. I followed her through one fairly large sim before I lost her. I located her in this tenement playground thanks to teleportation.
We heard bird noises--it was either a gull or a pigeon. Angie thought it was a vulture, but I told her I didn't think it was a vulture cooing. Then I noticed there was no litter on the ground, so I said "better pick up the litter." I told her I'd seen a candy bar wrapper float by. She admitted she did see it too, but "don't know how to pick it up." I said nevermind, the bird got it.
Women, I thought, like to spend all day 'getting dressed,' and flitting about, and showing men their various outer wear, but in the end, all men would prefer their women naked.

I sold some bottom land which long ago lost its beach and became the perfect
viewing spot for, of all things,
a gigantic banner of Iranian president Ahmadinejad's face.

Milo said he knew I sold the land because lots of things got returned to his Inventory automatically (based on the new prim count),
such as the couches in the house (D). He also said most of Yet's cars in the driveway disappeared (B), as well as the pot farm donated by Jenny (A). I solemnly asked if Woody (C) had made it. Woody survived the cut, I was told. I told Milo that it was very unfortunate that this all happened, but it was probably fortunate that (D) happened.
In other news: Prize Pyle informs me he must sell the roads, as well as the community pool (because of taxes). This is sad news, but I plan on asking Pyle if I can buy his pool and shift it to my estate once the land underneath it sells. This way, the neighbors aren't deprived of their pool.
