Vibes...

Someone asked me what the vibes were like here in Florida. I told him the vibes were incredible (and for me, essential).
Incredible vibes! Balmy and sunny and rainy and sandy. Hurricanes and Dolphins. It has both a strong Latin influence mixed with a decidedly Cracker influence. Blacks, whites, Hispanics, all living together. Jews and trailer trash. Baptists and Swamps and Space Shuttles. Three miles from where I live is the intersection of Ft. Harrison Avenue and Cleveland Street and that's where about a million Scientologists hang out.
Daytona 500 and Disney World. The Everglades and Lynyrd Skynyrd and Ray Charles and Jimmy Buffet and Princess Cruise Lines and sharks and a strong Canadian presence.
We also evacuate. In the meantime, we like our college football and sunsets (and sunrises) and spring breaks and foamy surf and giant cockroaches (NOT). We are home to lightning and pitbulls and pastel colors...

We like the vibes here, believe it or not, because there are about one-billion of them.

Second Life/Unexpected sight

We were in a contest to give this pic a caption when Barbara Bush floated into view.

Second Life/Mystery Church

Looking for a church without crosses. Then I saw the beanstalk.

It grew higher than anything I've yet seen.

Way into the clouds.

/
/
/
/
At the bottom of the beanstalk was the church.

Typically, I'm not into doors. But this door was locked, which made me ponder it. Then I noticed how psychedelic it was.

Nothing makes you ponder like a locked door.

Second Life/Discussion on sexuality, SL-style.

Here we are sitting on pillows like in ashram.

Two other people occupy my pillow while we listen.

We gain a lot of insight into the empowerment of women in SL. Women are, as it turns out, very stimulating, benevolent creatures and rl can only gain from their improvements.
SL certainly has.

Second Life/Bar Shouts

An Event called "Tarot Card Readings" brought me to this mystical place. Finally a chance to get away from it all.
A perfect place to relax and meditate.

A neighborly shout caught my attention.
WOOOOOOOOOOOO

a pause.

Then another shout. THE SWEAT ONLY MAKES YOUR BODY GLISTEN
WORK IT
The bar nearby is the source of the shouting?

SPLODER is risin GET IN and WIN!!!!!!!!!!

Oooh! Woot!

THEY ANNOUNCING NUCLEAR ATTACK -- KEEP DANCING

SWEETLY SO HOT I HAVE TO WEAR SHADES

Random Thoughts...

One guy was describing how he designs all his audio scripts with Notepad. And it seems to me that through the years I've heard plenty of people describe themselves as "Notepad users," which means basically
they're script scribers. So I daresay Notepad may be the paintbox easel of the 21st Century.

I want to create a gigantic volcano in Second Life and sacrifice a 'king of spam.' The guy will be dangling dollar bill signs just outside our grasp as we get nearer and nearer to him. Finally, he will fall backwards into our most-unforgiving volcano.

Second Life/L Word World

It was strange seeing the militia show up in the The L Word (Showtime) area.

The dude almost hit an angel!

Is it any wonder some women prefer the company of women?

The tank shortly before it disintegrated.

Standing in front of The L Word Club...a club I'm not sure I'm permitted entry.

I spend time outside with a girl.

Elsewhere...
Talking with someone named Boz. Boz said this house belongs to his real life neighbor and he uses it as a crashpad whenever he's in SL.
!!!!
Nearby is a gigantic cube covered with a galaxy of stars and inside is a discotheque. The cube can be transported from place to place. It is a mobile disco, if you like. "If you hire the DJ he brings the disco."
This is a house I floated over to because it was releasing hearts into the atmosphere.

I asked aloud who was responsible, and someone inside yelled he was pumping out all the hearts.

He said he was showing the world his love for his sweetheart.

I imagine Valentine's Day will be something else in SL.

Second Life/Photo Shoot

In the safari-themed room of an escort I hired for 30 minutes.

Looking for cameras.

She is gorgeous.

A Pamela Anderson connection?

"Is there anything I can do for you?" Yes, strip.

I ask her if it's ok for her to be photographed. (She might be under contract.)

No problem, she says.
Then let's start with the shoes.

Now your stockings.

Explain, please, that star I didn't see before.

Turn around.

Show me your muscles.

Oh my.

There are two sets of eyes staring at me.

Which ones do I acknowledge?
Those I think.

Now comes the moment of truth...

The real star will shine...

In other news...

The U.S. said today that talks with North Korean deputy leader Kim Yom Nam...

Back at the ranch.

She told me she would do something to get in the mood.

To me, it looks like she is freezing.

There is the giraffe again.

It is an omen.
